Sim2000 Roadshow, Leeds!
Zero Eight are attending the Sim2000 Roadshow in November. They will be showing us all thier range of digital albums, coffee table books, thank you cards and brand new wall hanging solutions. Including the box frame and the block mount, and a number of other frames that they are previewing. Also The Socity of Wedding & Portrait Photographers (SWPP) will be there along with others.

Caroline & Darrens’s Pre-Shoot Day!
The pre shoot went very well and the weather kept great. The group covered four locations throughout the Peak Distinct National Park, which took the complete day with lunch.
Mixture of images have been taken which will be available to view very soon.
Some of the images will be added to their Wedding Album. One will be selected to be printed on to canvases, for guest to sign as they enter the venue. The rest will be on a CD with all other wedding images to do as they wish with.
We had a great time with many giggles and no pressure.

Wedding Fair!
Many of you are asking Zero Eight about up and coming Wedding Fairs. We have a number booked now, and are just waiting for our marketing martial to come through. As soon as it has we will post all locations and dates.

Caroline & Darren Pre-Shoot!
Just to let everyone know that Caroline and Darren are having their pre-shots done this weekend 19th (weather permitting). The couple has given permission for couples waiting to view all images through the password protected portfolio.

SIMPP, SWPP & SIFGP
This is just a quick update for everyone.
Zero Eight’s work has now been accepted into the following Societies:
SIMPP: The Society of International Media and Press Photographers.
SWPP: The Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers.
SIFGP: The Society of International Fashion and Glamour.
To be accepted we had to show our skills and commitments to professional photography. We now we have to continue to abide by rules and a code of conduct set by the societies.
The societies are only open to full time professional, semi-professional and up and coming photographers.
The next stage:
Over the coming year Zero Eight is working towards one of the following qualifications:
Associateship
Fellowship
Craftsman
These titles will allow us to hold an abbreviated term after our name such as:
ASWIPP: Associate of the Society of International Wedding and Portrait Photographers.
FSPPA: Fellow of the British Professional Photographers Associates.
CrSWPP: Craftsman of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers.
Wow you may think…many letters and words. Yes there are 15 terms all together. We are unsure as to what qualification to go for, but we are certain that your images will be part of what we will be submitting.
It is a gruelling assessment to gain the titles as some photographers have been working hard towards these for many years. However this is just a guarantee that we will be working even harder at achieving those exceptional images for you on your special day.

Wedding Package!
Even though this blog is still under construction, we thought that we would put some info on here just to keep our wedding customers up to date.
The wedding area is a new venture for us but couples are making enquires and are starting to book us already for next year. We have undertaken a lot of market research to establish our packages. Also because of the current economic situation, we have gone out of our way to deliver something that is affordable with the quality.
We have decided to use Sim2000 Imaging for our albums and books. They boast a highly skilled and equipped design studio. Who are supported by the state of the art facilities both in printing and bookbinding. Coffee Table Books through to Flush Mounted Wedding Albums are available along with Parent and Guest Books, Portrait Books, Cards and Boxes.
Here is a breakdown of the packages:
Pre Shoot:
To take a collection of images of you both a number of weeks before the wedding shoot. This is at a location of your choice perhaps somewhere memorable to you both. This will add dynamics and flare to your album and CD.
Full Day of Wedding Photography:
We will spend the complete day with you. There are no time limitations to the day. The only break we will take is 1 hour during the day, this normally would be when the bride and groom sit for their meal together.
CD:
All images from the shoot will be included on this CD.
Great for printing from at your own leisure and distributing among family and friends. (All images inclusive of those from your album will be on the CD)
Your choice of album or book.
All design, delivery and VAT are inclusive of this cost:
At zero eight we deliver our imagery as a reportage and documentary style. Similar to what you might find in magazines and papers. Our background comes from working within this area and now we have transferred this style to weddings. And for what we can see is what a lot of couples are asking for. The images come as monochrome, colour and retro (kind of 70s feel about them).
Printing and binding of the full album can take up to 4 weeks. This is normally a great time for the happy couple as they have returned from honeymoon and can relax over their images together.
To secure the date a 50% deposit (of the photography element only) will be payable. This is non-refundable and will be at a cost of £150.00. The full and final payment of the package will be required 30 days before the date of the event. All payments made to photography08 will be invoiced.
